A1e was selected for the prestigious International Architecture Triennial ‘Interarch 2015’ which was held in the Bulgarian capital Sofia in May 2015. This is an important exhibition, which features the leading masters of contemporary architecture. A1e produced three themed panels on Architectural Structures of the Future, Innovations and Traditional Architecture, Architectural Identity, Architecture and Ecology and Sustainable Cities. The company presented the works together with Mediterranea Engineering Srl within the OICE exhibition space. OICE is the association of Italian engineering, architectural & technical economic consulting organisations.
A1e joined forces with first-class consultants D&F who specialise in development and town planning. A1e, D&F and Mediterranea Engineering Srl of Palermo, headed by Gianni Di Fisco, together forged an official agreement to work on proposals and participate in bids together. Thus providing both Italian companies with an operative office in Sofia, promotion and scope for business development projects through D&F.
A1e was invited to participate in a roundtable meeting held at Palazzo Montecitorio in Rome. The discussion involved a presentation on the successful partnership between Italy and The United Arab Emirates. Representatives from the Dubai Expo, foreign ambassadors and international relations experts from the MENA region, were among the many guests present at the meeting.
Following business meetings held in May, the company was soon to be approached by a competitive local firm based in Muscat. A1e provided Landscape and interior designs for the AL Saleel nature reserve visitors centre and camp in southern Oman. A1e took part in a public bid for the redevelopment of the harbour area in Mussanah, roughly 100km north of Muscat. The company provided designs for the landscaping works of the area and the interior design scheme for the administration building and fish hall. At present A1e are awaiting response on the outcome of these bids.
A1e opportunely took part and had a successful stand at The Muscat Business Forum in November 2014. Thus opening new doors and new business opportunities. To consolidate this experience from February to May 2015 the company built and followed up a vast number of contacts in Oman. And the beginning of May saw a successful week of business meetings and networking in Muscat. This gave the opportunity to elaborate on further market research for opportunities in tourism development. It also gave the company a valuable chance to meet and establish good business relationships with local companies.
A1e have a successful working agreement with Engineer De Marinis and Architect De Pinedo of Rome. The objective is to develop projects in Algeria. This opportunity gives A1e a business set-up in Rome complete with all the necessary facilities in order to support and stimulate business ventures.
